Let's get one thing straight. I refused to get vaccinated.
Why?
Because something inside of me told me not to, and that is that.
I could write a book on 2020, but let's just start here.
How to prevent and cure a respiratory virus naturally
There are 3 things I did over the past few years to prevent getting sick, even when living in the same house as someone who had a respiratory virus.
1.) Drinking fire cider daily in the winter
Fire cider is a homemade tonic using apple cider vinegar and various herbs, spices and roots to help prevent disease, alkalize the body (make is less likely to support illness), and boost your immunity due to the cleansing benefits.
I made a large batch of it (that has lasted me 2 years) and just took 1 tbsp in a glass of water during the cold months. It tastes interesting at first, but I just think of it as medicine. It reminds me of bone broth and you can make it to your own taste.
Here is what it contains and how it helps your body:
AVC (Apple Cider Vinegar) - antibacterial
Honey - antimicrobial and antioxidant
Ginger - warms the body, reduces body pain and inflammation
Horseradish - increases circulation and reduces sinus
Turmeric - warms the body, reduces inflammation
Onion - anti-inflammatory, helps digestion
Garlic - anti-inflammatory, helps heart
Jalapeños - inflammatory, warms the body
Rosemary, Thyme and Cinnamon - helps with pain and digestion (anti inflammatory)
Oranges and Lemons - aids in acidity, alkalizing
Again, you can change things around according to your taste or what's available! There are a few steps and lots or recipes out there! You do need to make it in advance and let it sit to get the full benefits, but it will last you so long! I still have a lot left and have used this over the past 2 years.
Here is a great recipe!
2.) Elderberry syrup and zinc
I also took a zinc and elderberry lozenge daily, especially when I was around those who were sick. I actually need to order more, and they taste awesome! These were my favorite.
Zinc is well known for its prevention of rhinovirus.
Elderberry is a berry from the elderflower bush, which has been used traditionally for centuries for immune support. I also have a local herbalist who I have bought bottles of elderberry syrup from over the past 2 years! You can also make it at home with a little research. I would take a 1-2 tbsp if it was cold season, if I was around a lot of people in the colder months, or if I was around someone sick.

Zinc and elderberry together are amazing at fighting colds naturally.
3.) My secret weapon... mushrooms!
Okay, if you don't know who Paul Stamets is, you absolutely need to watch Fantastic Fungi. That is how I found Host Defense, which is Paul Stamet's mushroom supplement line.
This specific product, MyCommunity Blend is what I used. I tried digging into the reviews on iherb - a few years ago there were tons of reviews from people talking about how it helped them get rid of Covid, so I tried it, and it worked! I keep a bottle on hand now and know if I get really sick, then I take this.
I am not a doctor but I am smart enough to use my own reasoning. A doctor wouldn't prescribe this, but you know what? It works, amazingly too. I based my own usage off of what other people had good results with - I think I took about 2-4 capsules 3-4x a day, and it pretty much cured me when I was sick. People also use it in combination with chemotherapy and they say it has helped their immune systems tremendously. It worked for me, so I know it can help someone else too.
Honestly, I would recommend anyone has 2 bottles of this on hand in case of emergency with a respiratory virus. I truly believe in this product that much. As with any herbal supplement, try 1 capsule when you're not sick to see if there are any effects. But as well with herbal supplements, I know I have to take more and take it regimentally if I am very sick. So keep it on hand, and if things get really bad, take a higher dose and use your best judgment. This isn't rocket science. We should all know how to support ourselves and trust our own judgments.
Your body knows how to heal itself
We just have to learn how to stop putting all the crap into our bodies and minds that are making us sick.
Even if you have to go against the world in the search for truth, I hope you go courageously.
